Banner Clip-Point Blade EDC Folding Knife

The Banner is SOG’s flagship American made spring-assisted knife, proudly forged with American CPM-S35VN steel. The drop point blade has a slight recurve that provides a longer cutting edge for smooth, deep slices. Blade accesses is rocket-fast, thanks to the SAT spring-assisted opening. Stainless steel liners and a unique button lock provide convenient and reliable hold. The black TiNi finished blade and black anodized aluminum handle allow for discreet everyday use.

Pro tip:
Recurved blades have a second curve along the cutting edge, creating an S-shape in the middle. This added curvature effectively makes the cutting edge longer and provides a wider degree of cutting angles. This blade shape can be tricky to sharpen though, as it requires continual reorientation of the edge.
