The assisted opening ensures that you can quickly open the knife with the flipper. This mechanism is namely enhanced with a spring that supports you when you open the knife. Because of the IKBS ball bearings it moves really well. Once opened the Deadbolt Lock will provide you with a solid lock. The unique part of the Deadbolt lock is the hardened steel wedge that falls into the cut-outs in the blade This construction is so strong it can handle quite a lot. Using it is also easy: you simply press the large pivot to close the blade.

The blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough type of steel that can handle its own. Do, however, be careful with acids. D2 steel is namely not completely stainless. The handle is made from G10 with a texture for enough grip. You carry the knife with the pocket clip.
