Drop forged from 1055 carbon steel, the Cold Steel Trench Hawk is built for tough duty. Its sharp cutting edge and deadly spike allows hooking or trapping uses, and their combined length can be used to parry or block an incoming blow. For longer range combat, throwing the hawk is a breeze with double the chance of a lethal hit.

This has a nice weight distribution. Comes with a good edge on it. Only down side so far is the handle. The polypropylene is very slick and can get away from you if your hands are wet / sweaty. This axe throws very well but that handle may be an issue for many if throwing. Whether chopping or throwing you may want to add some friction tape for better control.
